I took some photos for a preschool recently and was able to snap a few of the director Andrea and her kids. They were super cooperative and adorable!

The Little Cheerleader

Meet Miss O. Isn't she cute. Yes, she roots for the bulldogs, but don't blame her!! :)
I am not much into college football myself. I am surrounded by people wearing bright orange though and so this little red cheerleader outfit sticks out a little bit here. :oP

At a soccer game, her mom asked if I could snap a few photos of her in her outfit, so I did.
And I think she is just precious!!

Some more fun images from my time with these two cutie pies!! Aren't they just precious?? I played around with the processing of these images and I am pleased with how they turned out! I hope their momma likes them!

Working with manual settings...

I spent the weekend playing with my camera at the kids soccer games. I have come home so many times feeling like I got some good photos and only ending up with 3 or 4 that I love out of 200!! That is disappointing!

I did some reading up on shutter speed, which is the part I have trouble with.


Sweet little Miss R. was playing on the bleachers and let me take a few pictures and her mom was sweet enough to let me share them with you!

The weather held out for us today and I am so glad it did! We had fun today running around and taking some pictures. Her boys are so sweet. I think they both warmed up to me right away! :)

I know Amanda is anxious to see some photos, so I am going to share 2 quick sneak peeks!

Hmmm. The color isn't looking the same when I see these little thumbnails!

What you get: You can choose 8 images from your gallery
to be put on a CD, with written permission to print
as much as you like from the vendor of your choice.
Additional images available for $20 per image.

This will be my pricing from now until the end of the year!
In January, I will change to a per print format.

The Painted Cupcake - Downtown Nashville

If you are in the mood for a sweet treat, then head downtown to the cutest little cupcake shop ever!! The decor is adorable and the cupcakes are DELICIOUS!

Miss K had fun picking out cupakes for herself and for her "little friends". She set them all up and had a little tea party right in the store. Here are a few photos from our adventure.

I have wanted to do this for such a long time!!!! I have decided to overcome my fear and lack of self confidence and just go for it. And so it has begun, my new business Purple Tulip Photography.

This is my first photo shoot as a "real photographer". :o)

This is Miss K. She belongs to my good friend Hollye. She was such a doll and so cooperative!!
